At other times
dinner is served by the light of flaming
torches at the water's edge, or on
a moonlit lake on a 50-foot mahogany
dhow floating gently on Lake Tanganyika.
Accommodation consists of just 6
double tents set on the sand towards
the back of the beach against the
forest. Two lounge chairs adorn
the front of each tent. Behind
each tent, a short 15 foot path leads
to a private thatched and wooden bathroom.
There is a toilet on one side and
a bucket shower on the other side
that is filed with hot water upon
your request.
Greystoke is unlike any other African
safari camp you might have visited,
with a more remote jungle type feel,
which tends to bring out the adventurer
in you.
